  2. We can and DO clean exhaust fumes. It still much more expedient to keep improving car emissions like the aviation industry. Unless you are a hypocrite and fly and use an EV car thinking that offsets... Sex is messy and bloody sometimes but without it we'd be extinct like dinosaur . I WILLbe the first to admit that the oil industry is both filthy and immoral .especially when the dollar is pegged. Wars etc. Horses for courses. In huge cities with huge car population need clean cars because of limited air flows . What aggravated me me is the way humans just got bigger and bigger cars when the price of oil went down. My 14 year old audi diesel is plenty powerful and clean.the end of my tail pipes is still shiny clean. Recirculation exhaust system and platinum filters. But most Americans want huge petrol engines with triple the power they actually need. So in essence they're TRIPLING the pollution. Battery cars are clean at point of use but at source of electricity production and the car batteries mining system are incredibly filthy and damaging to the planet.
