  1. A lot of fairy tales need to be taught in universities. Especially the parable type. My favourite is the 3 house types. One built on sand and one built from straw and the last one built with rock on rock The carbon houses in dresden and hiroshima and the Great London fire centuries are all gone but the stone of pyramids is still there even though its built on sand. In a thousand years time they will see the errors of their forefathers in depending on electricity. Its great when it's working but nowadays its far too critically depended on. Just one Carrington effect repeat and the entire western world will be plunged into utter chaos. No water pumps No lights No laundromat No heating No communication I don't know how long it will take to repair because all the diesel engines are in turn depending on the pumping of oil and the electricity supply. The simple people of the 3rd world will have a better chance of survival because they won't be affected and the west won't be able to fly to exploit them. Perhaps the parable of the meek shall inherit the earth is true
