  1. Ok fine words I have lived through the REAL apartheid. I grew up in the 70s South Africa. We had compulsory conscription and thats when i started my accelerated growth. Immediately upon entering the army was confroted with the previous gripe o the long finished boer war. Me' being of English heritage suddenly was treated as a second class citizen in the predominantly afrikaans controlled army. Ok Deep breathe. We were ostensibly in the army to fight the Soviets communist onslaught.. Nothing was mentioned about apartheid. We were all white conscripts. So the parallel to israel..... When youre young you are genuinely dumb and naive. So instinctively you go with the flow of your elders. I soon started to understand the reality of my destiny. Ordered to do someone else's work as a soldier. Not until i had my first contact and had a dead terrorist lying in our temporaty base in the middle of zambiadid things start to dawn on me that it was pure luck that it wasn't me lying on the ground with porridge coming out of the hole in his belly .he was only killed for his beliefs . The old leaders bones still beat on our homes. So just like Israeli kids you get sucked up into something that you had no say in as an infant. Just like the enraged Palestinian kids. Now.lets pause. So after Mandela came into power it didnt end all happily ever after. The resentment of decade's of oppression started to express itself like a ruptured pus filled sore. The crime wave that still is going on in South Africa both on the streets and right to the halls of power in Pretoria with ukraine style corruption. Where they wear wristwatches worth the price of a house and drink imported french champagne that costs the average weekly salary of ordinary people per bottle. The new leader dont or wont investigate the farm murders that have killed thousands of white farmers.they consider it as trivial crime.but they know its revenge. So now the Israeli people are still in contact with their families in south africa and are only too aware of the consequences if they just hand over the keys to the knesset. Reality. I dont make the rules.I just observe. Dont shoot me the messenger. Dont delete my say...ADL. PRINT THIS.
