@raypalmer7733 physics are physics. The roads in Hereford are getting pummelled by heavy vehicles. The pneumatic hydro pressure on wet pothole is quite fantastic. The heavier the car the bigger the damage. Typically the repaired potholes only last two months during the wet /freeze/dry winter conditions. The other thing is the EV suspension not hold up. My 200kg diesel engine is quite heavy and I've already broken 3 front coil springs. I wonder what the 750kg battery's will do to the tesla as it ages.

@salnaturile8653 Government knows. Government doesn't care. Government gets paid irrespective of the outcome. Government are merely grubby little people taking what they can while they can.

Yup. I keep harping on 750 kg batteries in the y model tesla. The roads are stilloil based.so that not going away .concrete is far too expensive they also make a hell of a lot of co2 to produce. The other thing i keep banging on is the rally aspect. Traditional cars are vigorously tested in rallies and formula one . To buy a car is the third biggest purchase most people ever make. So they want the best car that will give them the best value. Haven't seen a tesla in british touring car races or the paris to dakar rally. My dad bought a Peugeot decade's ago BECAUSE it won the african safari. I inturn bought an audi BeCAUSEit had the first quattro and won lemans and its been a fantastic little servant. 14 years old and still going very strong with 253000 miles onthe clock. Give me a call All Tesla owners in 10 years.

I always get these number crunching EV owners teling me this or that. I have time on my side I have practically driven one million or more miles in😢 my 64 years. 200 000 documented as a taxi driver. And i can unequivocally tell you that the 2 litre turbo diesel engine with catalytic exhausts are the best thing available. They have a proven track record. The incremental improvement with urea has fixed the nox problem.why throw away 30 years of knowledge for a milk float. You simply cannot compare my 14 year old audi to a brand new EV. They have to prove themselves first. Women and children need a safe car .
