Yup. Geeks don't drive. Nerds think from the basement. Driving is like love. Needs constant input and maintenance and care

Yes .no point having emergency button if you're that cause of the emergency because YOU WERE distracted by the screen in first place

Basically the drivers test has become instantaneously obsolete... If you're an automatic gearbox driver youve already detached yourself from the driver experience of keeping in touch with the roads condition AND the traffic AND THE DIRECTIONS. the real world on the road is far far too complex and dynamic for a computer to react. 90 percent of the time it COULD COPE . but whats the point of ending up in hospital and bankrupt for the remaining 10 percent...?

Bring back rally testing .ban auto transmission.

Touchscreen was invented by the boffins in cern.the hadron collider. Steve jobs adopted it for the iPhone and tesla for the car .but they are like oil and water for driver and car.....they dont mix

Ja.the reaction time is ULTRA critical. You cannot disengage your eyes from the road for a nano second. The holes in the Hereford heges is testament to the moder phone text kids who simply don't know what they don't know about total concentration on the twisty roads

Yup.and as ANY self respecting biker knows .one mistake and you're on your arse

Thats the first thing i noticed in the tesla that i was a passenger in. Distraction from the surroundings of traffic. I said to my son .keep the ipad in your perifal vision.....because 90 percent of the time.the troubles is just outside. But i certainly didn't have any confidence in a car that need to touch a screen to operate basic thing like opening the cubby hole. I know how to drive safely. Ive done so for 980 000 miles......touch wood TheEV is a menace on the roads.....
