I can testify. I was a soldier in the 70s South Africa. I didnt volunteer. We had compulsory conscription. If it wasn't for people like me who resisted and realised that the system was broken and voted with our feet and left the place.theyd still have apartheid there. Make no mistake us consciousness objectors made a difference. We gave one man one vote. The country was a nuclearpower at the time. If I'd employed ALL my efforts of physical and mental abilities i could have been a very very bad person . I was a coward and ran.self preservation However I couldn't run very far. America and England didnt want me. So i returned. It was only in 1997 that i could legally take british citizenship. That was a 7 year process. I had to do manual farm work. I was a photographer in cape town. So you can imagine how hard it was.anyway enough self pity. I basically had to work to keep food on the table.no benefits were allowed for 6 years during the citizenship application. So now I've got the house paid for and more importantly the internet and time to help the struggle against the establishment am i doing more. I am just sick of being used by the corrupt group of elitist who have been absolutely ruthlessly running the world. So here we go
