  2. Based on my experience in life...im 64. The humans ego is the biggest strength and yet impediment. Sitting in a position of relative comfort its easy to talk big and make even bigger plans. But once immersed into the problem one tends to become a hell of a lot more pragmatic. Take the occupation of France by Germany in 1945. France had to agree or just get scraped off th map. Sure they had the resistance. Similarly in greece. But if they overstepped they were severely punished by collective punishment of entire village Massacres. So they bided their time until the whole world came to their rescue. What happened to their self esteem...? Sooner or later they had to pick up the soap in the prison shower. Ukraine and indeed Israels problem is the collective world is not coming to their rescue. The only 2 choices is M.A.D or bend over
