  1. Until i actually picked up an instrument i had no idea how difficult it was to play. By the time I had learnt how to play reasonably well I was utterly bored and put off music playing. I however never lost the respect for the people of 70s and 80s who actually played and composed their own original songs. Music is hard work unless you are a natural like cat Stevens or Fleetwood mac or the beatles who had fantastic arrangers and managers.
