  1. Nobody has told me why the woman's voice is so squauky. I have tried to Google it. It seems that only American women in the media have the voice. In Europe the women sound feminine. The worst voice I've ever heard is maddow. Seriously so grating that I just cannot concentrate on the message. I don't want to be disrespectful but it seems like they are super stressed like the opposite when a man gets high pitch when he is scared or exited.. It's hard to fathom. But these women are a bit scary and they don't seem normal
