  4. 45 year's ago I had an incompetent corrupt captain in the army. I had to obey orders. Then one day the greed gave me the opportunity to get free. He said an expensive battery was lost on patrol and the whole company had to pay a little of their salary. I said we could easily find it because there was nothing in the bush besides elephants. But he was having none of it. He got the whole company on parade in full kit and ordered them to run around the base until i complied. The troops were running around and i had to stand in the parade ground. This is classic army to divide and conquer. Something like jesus came to me that day.I was totally unafraid. The troops came to me and begged me to submit. I said that the official wanted the money for the officers bar bill. Suddenly the troops realised they were getting f....d. They all went back to their tents. I was ordered to the captain who threatened me with a court martial. We were operational and I raised my rifle and said try. That day i found my backbone. He lost his. I was never bothered again The Ukrainian soldier must realise that the officers are corrupt

  48. Without sounding condescending it would be fantastic if Russian people were fluent in english. I find it so informative to hear a Russian perspective. Generally we in the west are mono lingual. This makes it easier for the war hawks to make division and mischief of us and them. I grew up with 4 different languages. Only mastered one. And that only now 45 years after school. Reasonable at afrikaans and that leads to dutch. In high school we had french and German for the first year.then you could have chosen one to carry one with according to your preference. It makes you think better when you have a smattering of many languages. But at the end of the day we're ALL pink inside with grey brains
