All the comments are being read by both sides. So like the hypersonics they're beavering away behind the headlines to catch up. The much flaunted f16 is a much better f16 than 10 years ago. It's brimming with fancy new electronics. And those electronics will also be getting the much needed upgrades to cope with the advanced Russian systems. I suspect that the military industrial complex is getting most of the Ukraine aid to do so.

@sislater6334 so you are saying that the f 16 is just lip service to satisfy the media.? Or they're on the kamikaze trail to use it for a nuke launch. I just speculate like everyone else. Theoretically they could get incredibly close to Moscow then deliver the nuke without interception. I say nuke but I mean a big bomb and blame it on Ukraine. Either way the states are not getting touched. The Russians could easily break a few windows in the heart London and Wall Street with some drones as a reminder to back off. Time will tell
