  1. When burnt, wood is carbon neutral meaning it releases only as much Carbon Dioxide into the atmosphere as it absorbed from the atmosphere whilst growing. Not only that, but wood left to decompose on the forest floor gives off the same amount of Carbon Dioxide as burning it does. So burning wood from sustainable sources really is the best way for the environment.
