  1. That reminds me of the stock I added to my ruger 22. I took the plastic grips off and replaced them with a brass one. And then put a split pipe with the ends flattened to grip the brass grips and then adding a wooden grip to the outside of the brass. It did require a groove on the inside of the brass grips for internal bits of the pistol to move freely. But I successfully used it to hunt

  2.  @cymond  oh. Interesting. I did it years ago in cape town for hunting Guinea fowl and small buck. I was desperate to get meat as I was transitioning from the military into civvy Street and couldn't settle for the office job
