Ww2 fixed the great depression of america. They didn't pay a huge population price....about 400 k. Russia lost 25 million China 2 million. After the war they were the most successful country in history. A man could support a family. Take holidays and send kids to university and the wife stayed at home. During the 50s... Now.....its a mess. People live paycheck to paycheck and are still in debt
