  7. Peter Jackson once said that The Toxic Avenger inspired him to make his own movies such as Bad Taste, Meet the Feebles, and (as mentioned in this video) Dead Alive. Think about it. If it weren't for The Toxic Avenger, we wouldn't have the Lord of the Rings movies. Well, not ones made by Peter Jackson, that is.
