They goofed. The book was published in 1997, and the movie was released in 2009. I hope that clears things up.

Helloooo! Do the pink elephants ring a bell to you? That scene is what kept me sober to this day!

You should check out James "The Angry Video Game Nerd" Rolfe's video review of "Return to Oz" on the Cinemassacre website. It's one of my favorite review videos.

Anyone heard of the movie The Adventures of Mark Twain? That movie was so creepy, it's banned from being shown on TV here in the United States.

That movie doesn't get enough credit.

"Return to Oz" was number 1, but not Willy Wonka? I did not see that coming. Personally, I never saw "Return to Oz" until many years later when I had a VHS copy of the movie and I have to honest, it creep me out at times. But, all in all, it's a very good fantasy movie. Almost all fantasy movies have CGI animation and that's been getting stale over the years. This movie, however, uses practical effects and Will Vinton's astounding, and at times frightening, claymation. They just don't make movies like that anymore.

I never heard of that movie until I saw this video today.

I liked the BFG, both the book and the movie.

"Watership Down" was not meant to be a kid's movie due to some blood and gore in some scenes. It's still one of my favorite movies.
