  3. I made sure to watch the first movie before seeing James Gunn’s version. It’s not as bad as everyone says it is. But it could have a lot better if it weren’t for all the studio interference that doomed it. Warner Bros. amazingly learned from their mistakes and allowed Gunn nearly full control of his movie. Now, if only movie studios would do the same for Ridley Scott.
