  1. The issue goes beyond abortion rights. The Supreme Court are arguing the place for fundamental rights is in the constitution, where revisions requires a 60% majority in both houses of Congress. So if that is their reason for forcing the removal of the Act, what else will be forced to follow it? All the civil rights of the 1960’s where passed by a straight majority as acts. The South could back to segregation and say try getting the constitution changed to stop it.
