They are no equal and never will be. Little UK alone now is 1/5 size of the EU, a dwarf between giants on the planet. It will have it's problems in any negotiations because of this from now on.

You really should stop watching conspiracy theories and than mixing them all together in a post like that. Let me guess: You are a Brexiteer?

I noticed that too. All those governments are center to center-right.

@Ganymede559 This post was made over 1 year ago. It's considered bad taste to "nekro" old posts. Besides reality already proved my point multiple times. It turns it out it's worse than expected.

@Ganymede559 I pity you for still being in denial. Well we will not change reality by debating it here so if you don't mind I will lean back again and continue watching Brexit unfolding.

@markofsaltburn And China is for Canada, Australia and New Zealand much more important, while UK dreams of resuming colonialism via CANZUK in a world which totally changed in the meantime. And India? It already surpassed the UK in GDP and will not take long to reach the top 3 and they will also not accept a resume of preferential goods from the UK from before 1970 if anything they all want to sell to the UK same as they want to sell to the EU if possible but buying ... that's a totally different matter.

I actually still wonder how such a greenhorn with such a bad background (scandal and such) could have become president.

Again this fairy tail of "they need us more than we them" and "german car industy will force this or that". Check the news things have changed in 4 years time and those statements were in retrospect lies and misinformation to make Brexit more paletable for brits.

@ianhaylock7409 Johnson capitulated. He took her Withdrawal Agreement and added even things she didn't wanted for the UK and now this treaty is active. And contrary to what Brexiteers believe: The Withdrawal Agreement does not end on Dec-31 only the transition period which is a tiny little part of it. And having No-Deal does not get rid of the Withdrawal Agreement. So who do you think capitulated?

@Intreductor Way too complicated. EEC was just closer and you can't help it you trade most with your nearest neighours not with all corners of the planet and each one on the other side of the planet. I mean please CANZUK is a joke with 1/3 planet between each.

Good luck. All 3 are deeply in the hands of China already. They bought so much property that you can almost say Candada/Australia belongs to China. And with the UK it started as well and as soon as the crash comes next year or the year after the great UK holesales starts when everything which is not already foreign owned is sold.

smile 2192 The EU helped immensly on cost reduction and minimizing red tape the UK will see this in the next years when it has to pay for everything on it's own and do everything on it's own. Of course it can do it, but the people will pay extra for this privilege.
