And the measures seems to finally pay of. Greece had 2019 one of the biggest economic growths across the EU with 2.8%. That is the actual goal to have a stable currency and a growing economy. Not cheating by debt, trade deficit, inflation and money printing.

There is no military in the EU. And if one day there every is, you can be sure there will be a ton of treaties to sign for that. Von der Leyen is not a president, she is the head of the EU commission who happens to be called "President of the EU Commission" as the speaker is called "President of the EU Parliament" and there is a "President of the EU Council". Lot's of presidents, but no President.

@stephensodyssey7423 There is talk about an EU army yes. But before a lot of treaties need to be signed first. This fear of "handing over the british military" is a false rumor made by the right-wing media to spread fear and make people support Brexit. Even if the UK stayed nothing would ever happend with it's consent. Not only would this require treaty extensions which need to be agreed and signed, but every single country in the EU could veto on that. So either all are for it or it's not going happen.
