  2. One person is not defining and not implementing the party policy and in proportional voting (or even partial PR) the candidate is less important. What I saw in the last weeks is that almost all media tries to discredit her (very Corbyn-like). The Establishment is really really afraid of a progressive left entering the top government spot in Germany. There was never a G7-member with a Progressive head of government on this planet. So you can imagine Corporations as well as Conservatives try everything to get rid of her and her party.
