  1. You almost unnoticeable gave the answer why the countries will not abondon Schengen. Growth. Countries within Schengen have a higher economical output of a couple percent. Big enought to more than cover all costs related to asylum and immigration and at the same time spare costs for border infrastructure on the inside.
