Putin invaded and stolen Crimea in 2014. And with that Putin broke his own Budapest Agreement of 1994 protecting Ukraine in exchange for destroying the Nuclear Weapons inherited from Sovjet times. Putin might broken this promise, but the other nuclear powers like the US, UK and France didn't. Until Putin invaded the free and sovereign nation of Ukraine Ukraine never asked for help and not considered joining NATO as an invasion-insurance. Putin created this problem in the first place. And now he is there to steal all the rest of it.

Well we could see it in this video for ourselves. And does this make everything else go away which was in this video too? You're ridiculous.

@theservant4294 Iraq was not Free and not a Democracy and lead by monster terrorizing and killing his own people for disagreeing with him. And all other countries besides the UK refused to join the invasion.

Contrary to Putin America did not invade to steal a country and expand it's own territory with it. And America had reasons for most of those conflict some better some worse. But America never invaded a Free and Sovereign Country.

Assume for a moment Putin send Russia settlers since 2014 into Donbass. To make it more Russia speaking, to make it more Pro-Russia, to undermine the Ukraine government ... to prepare exactly for what has happened 2 weeks ago. Putin stealing a large chunk ... by signing a self-written declaration ... litterally stealing land by the stroke of a pen. Donbass. A region of Ukraine containing heavy-industry and manfacturing creating 30% of Ukrainian exports. A region of Ukraine containing coal, iron-ore, anthrazit, titanium and other valueable resources. And a region of Ukraine connecting Russia with Crimea Putin already invaded and stolen in 2014. Does this not make much more sense with this mind? And lets have a look at NATO. An organization which works like an invasion-insurance with a simple motto: An attack on one is an attack on all. Before Putin invaded and stolen Crimea from Ukraine in 2014 Ukraine did not ask for NATO membership. NATO is by definition defense. You cannot use NATO to invade someone. Therefore the idea that NATO EVER considerer invading Russia is a clear lie.

What's wrong with Ukraine wanting to have an Invasion-Insurance after Putin invaded and stolen Crimea in 2014?
