Yes because - he gets good questions down to the problems at hand not some party political points making. - he can speak out without being interrupted constantly. - he can make full sentences and take his time instead of being forced to put everything in 15 seconds. - he is treated with respect and decency.

@karinemery No I don't. What Republican voters want and what Republicans what is no longer the same. Republicans only do what their donors want. Normal voters only get promisees and get to hear what they want to hear but it never happens. Never noticed that for a while now even under Trump they only promise things. They never talk about the present or the past ... because there is nothing good about it and they don't want to remind people that there were empty promises.

Biden is just 6 weeks in office and people already get vaccinated against Covid, Poor Kids getting help and 85% of people getting 1400$ checks. .... In just 6 weeks. "Don't care for the little people"?! Are you kidding us? You would be a fool to think otherwise. Biden and the Democrats did more in 6 weeks than the Republicans did in 6 years.

@karinemery Republicans voted all against the Relief bill although 75% of americans are for this bill. The Republicans are not interested in cooperation only in obstruction. I rest my case. Chapter closed.

Would you rather get nothing instead of 1400$? It's a wonder you got anything at all the Republicans tried to torpedo it all the way and ALL voted against it. And it would have been nothing if it weren't for Georgia and Harris.

@jakelaughton683 Because the Republicans threatened to Filibuster the Bill endlessly and there was no time Corona needed to be dealed with and people needed the help. Besides that there were voices on the right side of the democrats who thought the number was a little height and there was the risk the 50 votes would not be there which would be a major disaster so compromises needed to be made to ensure the Bill passes and people, schools, foodbanks and small bussiness get the funding they needed, it was, well still is an emergency.

So you don't want it for the people after you because you didn't got it. ... "Riiiggght" as Brian would say. For your information: Germany has nothing like this. Study is free (almost). And it brings a lot of intelligent and innovative people to the country and a lot of them stay after they studied because they like it. See it as an investment of society. Sure there is a risk that some people exploit the system or for whom the spending is a waste of money but likewise there is a ton of people who could never afford to study who turns out to be geniuses and just needed a little help to "jumpstart" in life. Opening up small bussiness companies or making startups later. It pays back into society and sometimes the brightest minds are the poorest.

@neptune4167 They learn that soon enough when they start paying their morgage or just move into their first own homes or having family and see how quickly the money goes away. Do you really believe people in countries with free study are different on that, or don't learn their lessons on responsibility regarding money? Please ...
