  1. Nothing will happen to Ted Cruz for that. Republicans always cover for each others crimes and corruptions and the times when Republican Politicians had the decency to resign over huge mistakes are long over. The only way to "punish" those people is ... not electing them next time.

So they first deregulate to reduce the costs to a minimum and make the maximum on profits on texan people and now that this cost reduction came back to bite the power suppliers they put the emergency costs on the customers and use the opportunity to raise prices as well!? ... That's free market and capitalism. Deregulation is only there to give more opportunities to cheat (and endanger) the customers.
