  1. Debating is one thing. Passing something entirely different. My guess is Manchin, other Corporate Democrats even Biden himself is not counting that this leads to anything. The "For-The-People" act contains sections which would lay open party financing and transparency on party donations as well as personal donations. The Corporate Democrats and the Republicans don't want you to know who their masters (aka their donors) are.
