  1. The guilts market (debt/bonds) will not react kindly when the tax income of the United States drops because noone is paying taxes anymore because the IRS is hoplessly understaffed. Raising the risk of defaulting. The results will be a lower credit rating and with that rising mortgage rates and rents, higher cost for debt and loans making everything much much worse.

  2. In my experience only tax evaders talk like that. If you not hid income or trying to evades taxes you have nothing to worry about.

  3. @ You underestimate me. I'm well aware. I also hate to waste tax and would like to have more transparency and accountability on spending it. But just because this is mismanaged means we should abandon it.
