  4. Zelensky's main problem was the lack of security guarantees for any deal. Meaning he needs an insurance in case Putin breaks the deal. Putin already broken 3 deals with Ukraine Budapest-agreement, Minsk I and Minsk II. If someone broken 3 deals with you already you need an invasion insurance. NATO would be one but Trump is unwilling to support that because Putin don't want that. If Ukraine is in NATO an invasion would cause a war with all NATO members.
