  1. I think Starmer made a mistake yesterday saying Britain needs America. He practically signaled Trump he has leverage over Britain. This is a terrible thing to say to a narcissist because he will exploit it.

  2. There is a very clever saying which is I think completly ignored even by this expert: "Prepare for the worst. Hope for the best." They still assume some kind of historical loyalty or tradition here but Trump is breaking all this for his ego and personality flaws. This is not a rational, logical or even honest being not even to himself. And I think these experts have not quite considered the worst scenarios yet because it appears unthinkable for them. And yet every day Trump moves the insanity further even if it hurts America.

  5. You missing some facts here. Ukraine would only be the first invasion of others into European countries. Putin wants to remake the Sovjet Union at least to Warsaw Pact level pre 1992. This would mean 4 countries at the minimum. And if Russia is strong enough Poland, Germany and the Balkan. Ukraine was the economical heart of the Sovjet Union. Putin needs Ukraine at all cost to make this happen. This is why Europe makes a stand in Ukraine. Fight today, so you don't have to fight in the next 20 to 40 years. And it's cheaper in the long run.

  7. Frankly things deteriotated so quickly I would not be surprised if Trump this evening announces America leaves NATO. I mean all what we seen so far, his' and JD Vances' statements, they all point in this direction.

  8. Why do we need America to be involed into a peace agreement? And do you really think Trump will agree to anything on behalf of America at this stage? Steps which would mean going against Putin in case he breaks the agreement. I think this is naive. And even if Trump agrees. Do you think Trump will uphold a treaty he loses nothing on by breaking?! Again ... supernaive! This is your problem when in a rules based system noone sticks to the rules you need something else.
