  1. I'm highly disappointed by Lynch on this. He is a clever man, but his Lexity-Arguments containing misinformations about the EU are very disappointing. The EU is not turning into a state. And even if they plan it, you will get a Referendum about it. The EU is not a state and therefore not controlling any taxes. It sets minimum rates for VAT to avoid creating market distortion within the Single Market but that's it. The EU may get an army, but this would change nothing to now while in NATO. And any actions of this army are done like everything else in the EU ... by consensus decisions including Veto. You can nationalize while in the EU ... but not dispossession without reasonable compensation. EU regulations are minimum-regulations you are free to go above and beyond. And the only reason to leave the EU is to go BELOW the minium or drop it.
