  1. Cognitive Dissonance this callers view on Johnson is threatened and he tries to defend it. Because if this turns out to be true, all the other stuff coming out might be true and this caller must accept that he has been conned. And since "Boris" had influence to soooo many aspect of this caller life (all of UK actually) from Major of London over Brexit to Covid, PPE-Contracts, Government-Contracts, Elections and what not this betrayal is so monunmental that people desperatly grasping at straws to preserve it.
