Sunak will most likely now start Austerity 2.0. As a reminder: Austerity 1.0 is still running ... by the same party ... to reduce debt making ... well they doubled it instead since Labour. Where did the saving by the cuts in public spending ended up? Well in pockets like Sunaks as tax cuts for the super rich.

I give you a serious advise: You voting a party ... not a person! Vote by policy not by people! Policies affect you not leaders. And policies take thousands of people to make not just 670 MPs.

Starmer did not rule out PR. He just lowered the temperture until the time is right. If you want to announce such a thing you can only do it weeks before the election because otherwise you give Oligarch media in the UK the opportunity to talk it down for 2 years.

Fascism = Control by intimidation and violence (Control by bullying if you want). I think you watched another video.

People will just shift wealth and hide it better to stay below the threshold. Just tax them properly above 10 mio with 90% tax rate.

PR is not the problem. The parties are. PR punishes parties who are not willing to cooperate with stagnation. Nothing gets done. This in turn leads to shifting votes until parties emerge who do want to cooperate.

Not even one word was mentioned about this. Wash your ears. P.S. We talk about adding "social" policies to democracy not about replacing all with socialism. Besides what would you fear about socialism if I may ask? What is a socialist policy you don't like?
1
Do you really need to ask? By media funded by the very same people.

The number of MP's is not the issue. In fact I think 670 is too much. Bring it down to 500. The way they are choosen is. And PR is helping out with it making sure parliament looks like people voted.

So the same as of now. It's called House of Commons. And every MP has 1 vote. The real problem is how is each MP voted. And First-Pass-The-Post is not longer working with more than 2 parties. PR is the solution.

Sure it does. It makes sure Parliament looks exactly like people voted. Because currently it does not. What happens within PR when you have it ... well that's another issue. But PR is punishing government who refuse to cooperate by stagnation. Stagnation leads to shifting votes usually more to the extreme ... until parties begin to cooperate. PR itself works ... the parties behaviour is the problem.
