  1. But is stays not long and certainly not to make up almost a year of lower rainfalls. A river-system is not like a simple pool you have at home. Another problem is the real water storage is actually the ground and the life in the upper parts of it. But they are dead to heat and low moisture and cannot store the moisture anymore. It disappears even faster and plants do not get much before all is gone.
