  1. Xi is doing a far better job on isolating. Foreigerns cannot visit China for over a year now the ban has not been lifted you not even get a tourist visa. Xenophobia and racism against Non-Chinese has reached new levels discouraging foreign investments and foreign relations. The US trade sanctions, Covid and the Chinese Firewall doing the rest to isolate China from the rest of world.
