  1. It does not make much difference if you make a factory in France, Italy or Germany EU shares the same market/economy and customs area. EU alignment makes sure countries cannot be played out against each other anymore within the Single Market. And this factory is clearly build to manufacture Tesla's for the Single Market and placed almost at the center of the EU.

  2. Keep in mind: Burocracy = Regulations = Rules ... they hate rules but let's not make a desert in the middle of Germany shall we. There is still a lot of Forrest arround this factory. Thanks Elon.
