  6. This is factual wrong. The government has no say over DWNews and is also not involved with funding. DW is funded directly by the german people without involvement of the government. They can say what they want and how they want.

Those are not even taxes this is a mandatory fee everyone pays like a mandatory donation. And it ensures media can stay independant from government and from companies (ads). It gets as close to independant as it possibly can.
