Comments by "Aaron Okeanos" (@AaronOkeanos) on "Putin threatens to withdraw from the Black Sea grain deal unless some sanctions are lifted | DW News" video.
Have you noticed European farming fields recently? The number of grain fields is twice as usual because the price was so high due to this war. It is possible this has something todo with this as well?

It's actually a good sign they are worried what this channels says and that they feel the need to try to change it in the comments.

You realize this deal is allowing Russia to trade it's grain too do you? This is a deal like "I don't attack yours when you don't attack mine". And Russia is selling a lot of grain.

What has this deal to do with "the west". It is a deal with Ukraine like "you don't attack my freighters when I don't attack your frighters."

Putin is selling grain as well maybe even more than Ukraine. This deal is protecting his own freighters from military assaults as well. This is like Putin threatening to punsh himself in the face a little more.

Another theory on that: It is harvesting season for grain right now. Is it possible Putin just wants to prevent a price drop due to oversupply diminishing his own grain profits he so desperatly needs because of the other sanctions? European farmers have planted much more grain than usual and there is certainly more than enough supply available. And with a little luck he manages to maintain the profits and even get some sanctions lifted by holding a knife to the throat of Africa.

Have you evidence for that? Trade statistics maybe? Why would you need ships to Europe when you still have the train network directly connected to the european neighbours? EDIT: Oh and when this deal ends Putins freighters are military targets again as well. I know it looks so much better when you say "don't do it it is free grain for africa". Do you really believe Putin cares about any human besides himself and maybe his family? Have the last 2 years not shown you otherwise?

@gaborrajnai6213 Sorry not making much sense for me. Trains are much more useful for this. Even ships are unloaded to trains and trucks as some point so why the extra mile? And what you are refering to is oversupply to the neighbours threatening their own farmers due to the price drop in grain. But the trains could just drive further the train network is reaching to Scotland and Spain from there.

@Moabi4 So they get grain by trains or did in the past.
1
@Moabi4 But you just said they did since their neighbours tried to stop the imports. And I assume no ship would try to travel around Europe to reach for example Germany or Poland.
1
@gaborrajnai6213 Yeah that makes sense. I heared something about a different track type.

Putin is not using his own money for this war. He is bleeded Russias money dry.

Source? And is this pre-war or last year?
