  4. There are so many new battery technologies on the verge of industrial use. Is Lithium really that important? Yes today because it is state of the art technology but tomorrow not so sure when simple natrium could replace it? In any case I'm sure Putin prefers to have over not to have so this makes sense. But the areas he tries to control and he tries to take over on the negotiation table are resource rich with not just Lithium.
