Just look at American politics it the perfect example how this is treated: - Oil makes good money - Oil pays politicians to ensure this does not change - Oil gets billions and billions of subsidies every year from the American taxpayer although they are super-profitable already - Laws are made (Inflation Reduction Act) giving subsidies for Green energy only when you invested in oil. Basically making sure Exon, Shell & Co. now gets all oil profits and tomorrow all hydrogen profits. No Start-ups. - Internet trolls and politicians are payed and deployed to prolong the transition as long as possible

  4. It sure goes into the wrong direction. Under Biden Americans now drills more oil than ever (even compared to Trump) and the most amount on this planet. And how does the so-called "energy independence" feel for Americans? Heat-waves in summer, supercold storms in winter, floods along the big rivers, Florida losing beaches and cannot get insurances anymore and the gas price is lower than before but still not everyones liking.
