  2. The US is not intrested in invading Cuba and make it the 51st state in the US. I mean the US is not even willing to give Puerto-Rico or even Washington D.C. (spare me the statements about this) this status. And even if Cuba would get full Democracy not the loss of all Freedoms. I can even imagine some people on Cuba would welcome this.

  4. China getting more aggressive towards Taiwan forcing America and other western countries to show support in case of violence. China shown in Hongkong what happens when they "take over" and that China is not to be trusted.

  7.  @michaelmcgarrity6987  FYI: 1) Germany "only" needs to replace 41% of Russian Gas imports. 2) The EU forced all gas storages to fill to 80% by October 2022 and they already passed 50%. Full storages last for 1-2 winters. 3) There is an multi-step emergency plan in place. Heating of private household is cut off last industry first. So no ... the world will not end.

  10. Taiwan is the real China. The mainland was founded by Chinese Communist Rebels who's first task was to destroy history, religion and all which related to the old china before them. Unfortunatly the rebels won and the real China needed to retreat to the Island of Taiwan. The current Taiwan shows what Mainland China could be, what it should have been. The soul and ancient history was preserved on Taiwan it's a treature trove of Chinese Culture ... and must be preserved.

  13. Taiwans Democracy is more democratic than Americans Democracy. And this is no opinion this is counting. Lookup the Democracy Index. Taiwans is on par with most European countries if not better. American Democracy is average at best due to the corruption.

  19. EU and America both started building their own semiconductor manufacturing (again ... it started there long long ago). Both to make it more reliable but also to stop the dependency and trade interruptions like the freighter in the Suez canal and also because the overall demand has grown and competition is good for bussiness.

  20. Come on. China hates Japan and the CCP hated Taiwan and the CCP hated Hongkong both their independence, prosperity, wealth and freedoms of their people. Hongkong has already fallen. And China and India are also not the best foot. Australia and China also have seen better days. What is the constant in all of this?

  21. There were no sanctions on natural gas. Putin closed the valves meaning Germany will buy the natural gas somewhere else.
