  1. He is a populist. They tell you what you want to hear and promise everything to everyone deliverable or not. Now that he has the power he has to deliver and most populist fail because their own promises are either undeliverable or even contradict each other. The best you can hope for is a partial delivery.

  2. What's with all these accusations of communism? There is no communism left on this planet not even in North-Korea and it was never really fully implemented either not even in the sovjet union. Communism means "ownership of all means of production by everyone" which on itself is not bad. But Communism combined this with "Planning Economy" and this what was not up to the task. But I beginning to wonder if AI could help us out here. The irony is every bussiness under capitalism works itself under "Planning Economy" controlled by the board and CEO. It is the only way to run a bussiness. The problem was always to scale this up to a country.

  3.  @erichert1001  I don't know about them. But why cannot both be true? The solution may be that it needs someone new. Someone who really cares about Argentinia and is honest, integer, decent, empathic.

  4.  @electrolytics  I merely pointed out the obvious (if you know your onions everyone can do that). And this is not a solution just pointing out a problem. But it is not the only one. There is a political component too about the controller of this model. The instance which is making the decissions for the system (like CEO and board in a company). Unfortunatly it was given to a few in the form of dictatorial communism (actually like in a company under capitalism) and humans are flawed. It messed up the efficiency. This is why I brought up the idea of AI helping us out maybe.

  5. The times of unregulated trade are over. All customs areas apply protectionism to give their market an advantage and prevent wealth and bussiness leaving. This is a lesson Trump had to learn during his presidency with China and the EU. And his incompetency costed a lot of jobs and tax-money and slowed bussiness.
