  2. It's overdue. The US is last significant country still using these outdates measurements while science and engineering in the US and the rest of the world switched.

  3.  @johnbartholf777  Maybe you are not aware but science and engineering in the US is using the metric system to have less problems cooperating with international partners, trade, personel. Papers are done on it to avoid conversion issues, etc. And comparing languages and "units" shows a small mind ... with a large ego.

English is already the standard speech in science and communication across the world. So what are you complaining about. Ah yes ... your little tantrum because noone else is using your 18th century measurements anymore.
