  1. The US should seriously think about why the 2nd ammendment was there 200 years ago and consider that the reason is no longer valid and somewhat out-of-date. And that this particular "right" creates more problems then it solves ... much more. In 200 years it was not even once necessary for the purpose it was put there.

  5. @Bob Bobbington "Liberals"? Europe is offended. Neo-Liberals are what the Republican party was 10 years ago before the jump to the right. The party of bussiness, low-taxes and the wealthy. "Liberal" come from freedom to do what you want, without rules, without limits, meaning low regulation. Meaning exploiting and cheating how much and whereever you want in order to maximize your profits. This is exactly what we don't want just look at the US after 70 years of this policy: An utter disaster generations will need to recover from. Social-Democrats if you please. It's a little bit further left, but not quite as left as socialists.

And the argument that crime had gone down is not false, however what you not mentioned is that it has gone down globally but much slower in the US than EVERYWHERE else on the planet. The US is country leading every crime statistic amongst the G7, the G11, G20. Has the most prisoners per capita, the highest prison costs, in all measures miserably bad regarding crime, justice, prisoners. I will leave you here. Since I know for a while that you are a troll account. (Your account is barely 3 months old) and your accountname is almost a dead giveaway.
