  20. Mike Johnson as the Speaker controls what is put to a vote and what not. Sadly someone effed that up in past that the speaker can activly hold back legislation by just not having a vote on it. This is one of the things which must be reformed. For example that he can delay it only for a certain time after a motion is filed.

  27. "When the state borrows less" ... and just yesterday the House passed the new budget allowing to make 4,500,000 x 1,000,000$ debt (that is 4.5 trillion). And this while cutting Medicaid out of existence (880,000 x 1,000,000$) and SNAP by 20%. Just figure this: They make extreme cuts to healthcare (as large as the military budget) AND make record new debt at the same time and both to reduce taxes for the top 5% earners in America. And to top it all off. The military budget was not reduced but expanded from 860,000 x 1,000,000$ to 960,000 x 1,000,000$.

  28. "Bringing prices down" ... well there is the problem. A lower inflation does not mean lower prices. It only means they rise slower. You would need to have a negative inflation (called deflation) to have prices actually drop or perhaps an executive order limiting prices to a certain value but Trump seems to be unwilling to make such an order. The underlying problem is much more problematic. Long term only higher wages can offset times of high inflation but this is something billionaires hate even more because it impacts their profit margin. As a rule of thumb: Each year you not get a raise according to inflation or higher you get a paycut without you noticing.

Even if it were 50 billion: The yearly budget for - Medicaid is 880 billion. - Social security 1350 billion. - Yearly interest payments for existing US debt 883 billion. - Military budget 860 billion (soon 960 bn).   35. You trust the justice system to come to the rescue and they try. But the government starts to ignore court orders. So the courts make stronger court orders. This will continue until a critical point and arrests are issued and here it will all be tested. Usually the court speaks to the DOJ to order the US marshals to enforce the court orders. But what if the DOJ is not complying anymore? Here is the breaking point of all of this. And Trump already works on his excuse ("I only save the country").
