Comments by "Aaron Okeanos" (@AaronOkeanos) on "Is Civilization on the Brink of Collapse?" video.
Come on. It was just one international know example for an empire which clearly self-destructed instead of being actively conquered.

Not it's just history.

And even there empires ended at some point. The Roman Empire was just one well known example for the western world (this video is after all in English). This video is not evaluating or comparing civilizations here the point is ... they ended but humanity survived.
2
Not every video you disagree with is automatically propaganda or part of conspiracy. However you upvoting your own comment it telling.

Please grow up ...

@DJPonko The fact that you need to upvote yourself and actually answered to me on this are saying otherwise.
2
This is only because we allow it be like that.
2
Apparently you are new here. I suggest you watch the Video Library.
2
Yes it will be. But rejoice, I catched it before it drowned.

For?

This video is talking about interconnection not about centralization.

You believe in what you want to believe in. And I believe in what I want to believe in ... even if I choose to believe in nothing. Let's leave it at that and stop trying to push your belief on others.

Or they already short-selled on the end ... to be rich and wealthy after nothing is left * doh *

Evolution is never over. However humans are completly new strain and experiment and it remains to be seen if it survives or not. Evolution doesn't care, the Earth doesn't care and the Universe doesn't care. We have it in our own hands to decide if want to surive by cooperation or bomb each other into oblivion.

Apparently not boring enough if you still watch and still comment.

Werd erwachsen ...

Get rid of Putin and end the invasion ... then we can talk.
1
@npc-op1wx I said "end it" not "finish it".
1
"Civilizations in the past often ended at some point but humanity always survived and continued ..." what is hysterical or panic-making here?
1
@bycycleworkingtool Then don't watch it.
1
I think this is actually the point of this video. Not to make it harder on ourselves then necessary and find out why some civilizations self-destructed at some point without being conquered or damaged by nature. And not being too worried because usually humanity somehow survives.
1
Let's talk about why Civilization self-destruct without external influence just by the shortcomings of human nature.
1
Do you prefer hard truths or comfortable fairy tales?
1
@tmforshaw9 "Civilizations sometimes ended ... but humanity did survive" what is fatalism here?
1
@tmforshaw9 Now it's clear you misunderstood the video. Take or leave it.

Loved the old animes even watch them to this day. But this here is definitly Gen X made. I wonder what Gen Z will come up with.
1
Sometimes I wonder if the invention of Social Media and the inability to stick to the Truth is the Filter.
1
Not true. 1/4 of the comments mentioning it ... it's like spamming.
1
Well this video is made in Europe and here it is the end of worktime.

They last longer and more reliable than CDs, DVDs and BDs or even HDs, SSDs or USB Sticks. And you can read them even without electricity.
1
@chinabluewho I don't disagree. But digital memory loss is a serious issue when some media starts just a couple year later to lose bits until the file or all of it becomes corrupt and unreadable.
1
What angers me is that your own shortcomings and stupidity making us always learn things the hard way and always in the very last moment. And that we make it harder on us by lying at each other, often not learn from past mistakes and squabble over trivialities instead of dealing with serious issues. And finding ways to fight each other instead of working together.
1
This video just recounts history and facts. It does not blame nor put an opinion on something if it was good or bad or who did what wrong because this is not the point of this video. The message is: Yes sometimes civilizations go under by internal or external factors ... but humanity was so far resilient and came back.

@TT-bm2kd Not everything is a conspiracy. However existential anxiety is on a record high for various reasons.
