Excellent video. The first time I directly watched some of your videos. Your name dropped a couple times and your videos popping up in my recommendations for a while because of similar media but I never expected it to be this well done.

Believing already makes you vulnerable to this. Reason and the truth are the worst enemies of Fascism this is why as the first action of them getting power is making it harder or impossible to see or hear the truth. This is why books getting banned, scientists and intellectuals are ousted, ridiculed and ultimativly removed and media is getting controlled. Everything which can provide the truth or seeding doubt.

I think of them more as allies with parasitaric characteristics to each other. But they don't realize it. Corporations love the exploitation and especially the free workforce along the way of fascism. Fascists need the money and resources because exerting order and control is unnatural and requires constant effort. This is also why all fascistic endevours are doomed to fail at some point.

I know the truth often sucks and is not at all what you want to hear. But why attack the messenger? It isn't helping you. The message comes from other sources too.

So everyone not agreeing with you is a "lefty"? Careful this simple mindset can bring you into a world trouble once you disagree on something.

It's projection. Accusing your enemy of the things you think, do or plan to do. It's a defensive mechanism for people who not quite know how to counter reasonable arguments. But it's worth listening to it because this is the only time they say something about themselves without lying or deception and sometimes even provide hints about their plans and agendas you just have to invert the roles.

I would agree to that. Trump is a reflection of society. Not all of society but enough to make him leader. A leader alone is powerless without a base who is willing to feed him and follow him.

I'm afraid when you wake up one day it might be too late already.

Only when you have no solid evidence. THIS is the difference and how you can distinguish political prosecution from legitimate law enforcement.

It's still better to be aware and know what you are signing up to and what might be ahead.

Believe it or not but both are examples for a new kind of nationalism appearing all over Europe. But it feels unrefined as something which doesn't really know where to go. More to the traditional authorianism or some kind of of moderate nationalism. This is also why all those parties have massive divisions in themselves fighting for dominance.

Control by obfuscation (hiding information) is not a good strategy. It's better to know you realize the path you choosen and what might wait for you along the way.

Othering and devaluing others (sometimes the "superior" or "more valueable" beings called) is part of fascism. You need someone to blame after all and enemies and an explanation why you can rule over the others.

Does authoritarianism exist on the left as well? Sure check Stalin and Mao. Politics is like a sphere (some prefer horseshoe) with freedom on the top and control at the bottom like the poles on a magnet. You can move left or right but move further and further and you end up at a similar place at the bottom.

But the media landscape, the access to informations and social media are knew and although a lot of bad happens, also a lot of good happens. And the truth has it's ways of seeping through because only the truth makes 100% sense.

It is recitation and application on example. Or simpler: Going from the general to the specific. We humans doing it since forever: It's called logic. That's why you can write here a comment because a lot of clever people done it before us.
