  2. I just heard today Donald J. Trump is refusing to sign the oath of office and the oath to the constitution in Illinois. The paperwork he needs for the primary there. Documents who clearly say "I will not overturn the government" and "I will not overturn the constitution". What more evidence do you need? And how can someone run for office not signing these assurances?

Trump almost started a Nuclear War with Iran just to stay president in war times. He tried to overturn an election to stay in power and turned Americans against Americans to thrive on the division and almost single handedly ended American Democracy on Jan-06. And finally Trump downplayed and ignored Covid and killed more Americans than two world wars, Vietnam and Korea together. Trump started a trade war with China to extort more money and put farming into jeopardy. Trump deregulated all kinds of sectors resulting in toxic train derailments, dropping airplanes of Boing and banks doing risky bussiness threatening the deposits of average Americans. Trump is a menance. Maybe he didn't wanted all this to happen, maybe is not really evil but he is an idiot and idiots in charge can kill people.

School should be there to teach children how to learn, the basics like reading, writing, maths, language skills, etc., how to think logically and critically to be able to defend against manipulation and misinformation and about facts of the world and history. But no opinions leave that to the kids themselves. And religion is an opinion.

  24. #1 The last census in the United States showed white people are in decline just by numbers and keep in mind the census was made by Trump so the real numbers are probably even worse. I think that scared some of them. The fear of turning into a minority (from their perspective). #2 According to Demographics populations needs on average 2.1 children in each family. The US is way below this threshold. The only thing offsetting this problem is immigration, the very thing the Right-Wing tries to blame for all the problems in the country making this problem even worse. #3 "Keep them poor" is a doctrine widely spread among the superwealthy. The idea that you can only stay rich when others stay poor. They not even considering what demographics and socio-economics already show for decades: Less income inequality leads to better results ... even for the super-wealthy although it seem counter-intuitive at first. Forcing young women to have child they did not planned and cannot support is helping with this doctrine.

  27. It's worrysome that we constantly stumble over links to Putin for over a decade now but especially since the 2nd Ukraine invasion (1st was crimea). And not just in America in Europe even more assassinations successfull and failed, illegal surveillances of bussinesses and government official, spies, intel, etc. Putin seems to run a cold war in the shadows against the free world and using the wests flaws and weakness against us, for example greed, money, power, favors.

Everyone of us does things you know are a bad idea, or dangerous or unhealthy ... and still do it, often out of emotions or instincts.   35. These people are so shortsighted it hurts. Removing the income tax? Are you nuts. Of course people love that, but also the guys above 100k per year who have no issues paying it. The solution is not to remove it, but to raise the minimum to earn before it is applied. On the richer end it is a little more complicated because they use a trick "income" has a very narrow meaning in America and the millionaires and billionaires have thousand ways to declare income not income and avoiding this tax. Result: Billionares pay on average only 8% income tax (I think it even less just 1%). In other countries this tax is 45% or 55% even.

  37. The germans teach all kinds in school about the mistakes of the past (not once but multiple times in middleschool, highschool and above). Most classes even make a trip to one of the concentration camps turned into museums leaving a shocking reminder that this has really happened. But the kids also realize this was not their fault nor those of their parents because it was long before them. It creates awareness so you not allow it to happen again.
