  2. Facts you give them creates Cognitive Dissonance in their brains - conflicting thoughts - but instead of dismissing the one which makes less sense they drop the one they like less. In the absence of facts people believe what they like and dismiss what they not like. I not quite know how but try to reach them over emotion not facts. You might get better results than simple dismissal because they do work mostly on emotions. But try to avoid negative ones like fear, hate or anger try positive ones like love and hope. People always prefer those over negative ones.

According to them EU send 77.2 bn € in financial aid and 5.6 bn € in military aid. The US send 42 bn € in military aid but only 24 bn € in financial aid. Percentage wise Estonia delivered the most with 3.6% of GDP while the US only send 0.32% of GDP.

  21. There is a fact everyone talking about oil should know. Crude Oil is sold to world market prices which the OPEC organization is largely setting. Meaning drilled in the US, Scotland, Norway or Iraq the price is the same. Meaning more drilling in the US does not necessarily lead to lower prices for Americans. However Congress could make laws doing that. For example saying oil in the US cannot be sold for more than x $ or saying US markets have to be served first and for less before selling on the world market or even that selling is only allowed in the US. But Congress will never do that because they grease the politicians with donations to their campaigns not to.

There is one argument some people had: The fact that Trump lost the public vote in 2016 and only become president thanks to the Electoral College. There are 3 important things in media which everyone should obey: 1) Truth 2) Manners 3) Transparency Truth You can be left or right or middle or exotic or whatever (= bias/opinion) but lies are unacceptable. Lies are intentional changes or leftouts of informations describing reality/what happened or what is. You can have any opinion or bias you want but you cannot properly made them on incorrect or incomplete informations (= misinformation). And worse doing it intentionally (= lying). Manners You can say what you want and how ... but not disrespectful and not if it damages the dignity of others. Transparency This is a little more complicated so bear with me. Everyone has bias if your want it or not. And if you are not careful it can taint the information you giving to others = Impacting the Truth/Reality which ends up either misinformation or a lie if this misinformation was intentional (= You know the truth and still tell it wrongly.) It is important that you are transparent about your potential bias on your channel meaning people watching it should know your potential bias. Lying or keeping silent about it is unacceptable. You cannot expect a Channel for Oilcompanies to say something bad about oil. You cannot expect a channel having ads from a weapons manufacturer to say something bad about this weapons manufacturer or weapons in general. That why those labels you see under some video saying who is funding this channel or to which organization this persons channel belongs is so important. You can say what you want but do not hide your bias. People can make their own opinions but keeping hidden who is funding you is dangerous.

But contrary to the private company a public company only needs to run on cost coverage, not need to pay stockholders dividends, not pay board members, etc.

  49. Not quite true. The term was introduced during the Black Lives Matter movement. So it's just 4 years old. And it means being aware of racial injustices and being against it. However you are right in one point. The definition was later extended to include decency, policial awareness and political interest and the concept of "being awake instead of sleeping" what political awareness litterally is.
