  2. Frankly I would get rid of the gender difference in sports altogether and let everyone compete with everyone. And I can't wait to see some women putting males in their place in shame. I'm more certain than ever a lot of men just fear the free competition. P.S. And I say that as a man.

Maybe it already happened to this granddad (that someone in his family is gay) and he now tries to find someone or something to blame for it still thinking you can "become" LGBTQ+ by reading about it or being teached about it. I think it scares him that some people just are and that this is only natural and uncontrollable. In worst case he might be (maybe a little) but had to pretend otherwise all his life. Suppressed emotions can do strange things to people over such a long period right to the point of wanting to make society suffer for his suppressed feelings and having to live a life of lies and pretense.

  4. You don't choose anything. You feel it or you don't feel it there is nothing you can do about it. However what people will probably do is go back into hiding and pretend not to be ... like it was all the time before.
