  1. This is the core of this question: The right for everyone for safety and life vs. the right to have a well-armed militia with guns (this was before police was invented ... with guns). Ironically the 2nd ammendment was created to ensure safety and life ... but instead it has become a threat to this itself ... and as I mentioned was written in a time when normal people were needed to ensure safety because there was no police and the English could have come back at any time (this is what "protection against a tyrannic government" actually meant ... the english controlling everything again). It's 200 years outdated ... and even more since police and FBI took over domestic security so "well-armed militia" had become obsolete and even a threat itself.

  5. This is a false claim. Noone wants to take away guns ... they want more checks before giving you a gun and making access to some guns hard or impossible.
